Farmers realise more value from certified coffee

More than 30,000 coffee farmers are enjoying premium prices, thanks to implementation of best farming practices.
These are being fronted by international accreditation organisations.Farmers have for the last three years been implementing good farming methods with the assistance of global institutions. These organisations later connect them to the buyers of coffee in specialty markets in the US and Europe.
A number of coffees ocieties and estates have been certified locally under various international programmes. Their coffee is fetching high prices in the world markets.
